Philadelphia rapper and creative visionary Tierra Whack is back with new music.

The GRAMMY-nominated artist has released her latest single, “WAX PAPER,” along with an accompanying music video filmed in her hometown of Philadelphia. The track serves as the first release from her upcoming mixtape, WHACK’S MUSEUM, which is set to arrive on Juneteenth, June 19.

On “WAX PAPER,” Tierra Whack delivers sharp lyrics and confident energy as she addresses critics and doubters while embracing her unique creativity. The song blends a haunting beat with a nostalgic 90s hip-hop feel, creating a sound that is both fresh and familiar.

The black-and-white music video, directed by Child, highlights Philadelphia’s culture and spirit while showcasing Tierra’s signature storytelling style.

The release follows the success of her 2024 debut album, WORLD WIDE WHACK, which earned praise from major outlets including Rolling Stone, TIME, Variety, and Pitchfork. Since then, Tierra has continued to expand her career through acting, voice work, and appearances on major platforms.

Fans can expect even more creative storytelling when WHACK’S MUSEUM arrives on June 19.
