One thing I’ve enjoyed since moving to Atlanta is finding coffee shops where I can work, relax, and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Whether I’m editing content, answering emails, or just looking for a change of scenery, these are three coffee shops I’ve found myself returning to.

Foxtail Coffee Co.

Out of all the coffee shops I’ve visited so far, Foxtail Coffee might be my favorite. While there are several locations around Atlanta, the Buckhead location stands out for me.

Parking can be a little tricky, but once you find a spot, it’s worth it. The atmosphere is comfortable, the music is good, and it’s a great place to sit for a while and get some work done. What really impressed me was that both the coffee and the food were equally good. That’s not always the case.

I tried their coffee along with some pastries and a croissant, and everything was fresh and flavorful. If you’re looking for a coffee shop that delivers on both drinks and food, Foxtail is definitely worth checking out.

Daily Dose Coffee

Located in Grant Park, Daily Dose has become another favorite of mine.

The coffee was really good, and I enjoyed the overall vibe of the shop. My only complaint is that the space is pretty small. Seating fills up quickly, and outlets are limited, so if you’re planning to work from your laptop for a few hours, you’ll want to arrive early.

Once you find a good seat, though, it’s a great spot to settle in. The area stays busy throughout the day, with people constantly coming and going. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the pastry I ordered, the coffee alone would bring me back.

One bonus is that there is a parking garage nearby, which makes parking much easier than some other Atlanta coffee shops.

Black Coffee Atlanta

I always enjoy supporting Black-owned businesses, so I was excited to visit Black Coffee Atlanta.

From the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. The music was great, the space felt welcoming, and there was plenty of parking right in front of the building. I ordered a frappe and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu is creative, and even the drink names add personality to the experience.

Located on Atlanta’s south side, Black Coffee Atlanta offers a different vibe than some of the city’s larger coffee chains. It feels intentional, community-focused, and creative—all things I appreciate when choosing a place to spend my time.

Final Thoughts

Atlanta has no shortage of coffee shops, but these three have been some of my personal favorites so far. Whether you’re looking for great coffee and food, a place to work remotely, or simply a new spot to explore, Foxtail Coffee, Daily Dose, and Black Coffee Atlanta are all worth adding to your list.
