Dancehall star Malie Donn is continuing his rise with the upcoming “NYC Take Over” event happening Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Brooklyn.

The highly anticipated event has already created major buzz, with only a few tickets remaining. Due to strong demand, promoter Platinum Kids Entertainment moved the event to a larger venue to accommodate more fans eager to see the dancehall artist perform live.
“NYC Take Over” arrives at a major moment in Malie Donn’s career as he prepares to release his new single “Holiday” on May 22. The artist is also gearing up for the release of his debut album The Golden Child later this summer.
Fans attending the Brooklyn event can expect a high-energy performance featuring the songs that helped build his growing fanbase, along with previews of new music from the upcoming project.
Malie Donn has continued gaining attention following the release of his debut project The Grand Rising in 2024. The project included collaborations with Byron Messia, Squash, and Armanii, helping expand his reach while staying true to his dancehall roots.
The “NYC Take Over” event will take place at Brooklyn Navy Yard inside Building 12. Doors open at 10 p.m.
