Wu-Tang Clan will be honored with the Global Impact Award at the second annual Power of Music Honors hosted by the Soulsville Foundation on April 30, 2026, in Memphis.

The event celebrates how music can create change beyond entertainment, spotlighting artists and leaders making an impact through education, wellness, and community development. Wu-Tang Clan is being recognized for decades of influence through youth programs, mentorship, entrepreneurship, healthy living advocacy, and violence prevention efforts through the Wu-Tang Foundation and individual members.

John “Mook” Gibbons of Wu-Tang management shared that the honor reflects the group’s longtime mission to create music that uplifts and inspires, especially for young people. The group’s message remains clear: Wu-Tang is for the children.

The night will also honor Dr. Žak Ozmo as the inaugural Health & Wellness honoree for his groundbreaking work in neuroaesthetics, exploring how music impacts the brain, healing, and human connection.

Live performances throughout the evening will celebrate Memphis’ deep musical roots, featuring the legendary Hi Rhythm Section, along with rising talent from the Stax Music Academy.

With Stax Records’ legacy at the center, the Power of Music Honors continues to show how music can preserve culture, open doors, and transform communities for generations.
