Devon Gilfillian is stepping away from the digital noise and getting real with his latest single, “IRL.”

The track is a standout from his upcoming album Time Will Tell, set to release June 26 via Concord Records, and it leans all the way into live energy, raw emotion, and that internal push-and-pull we don’t always talk about.

Gilfillian makes it clear what the message is: he’s choosing real life over curated moments.

“I’m tired of watching life happen through a screen… give me the raw, give me the friction,” he shared—and you can hear that mindset all through the record.

The upcoming album Time Will Tell is shaping up to be his most personal project yet. Raised in Philadelphia and now based in Nashville, Gilfillian blends both worlds into a sound that feels rooted in soul but stretches into something new. The project was recorded at RCA Studio A, adding another layer of authenticity to the overall sound.

The album is co-produced by Gilfillian and Jonathan Smalt, with executive production from Neal H Pogue, known for working with artists like OutKast and Tyler, the Creator.

Beyond the music, this rollout comes with a full tour run. Gilfillian is hitting the road with Cory Wong this spring, performing in cities like Los Angeles, Houston, and Seattle, before making festival appearances later this year, including the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival.

The album itself includes 12 tracks, featuring titles like “Moonflower,” “Hold On (Hourglass),” and “You Can Hate Me Now” with Madeline Edwards.

“IRL” sets the tone for what’s coming—less filtered, more intentional, and rooted in real experiences.

With Time Will Tell, Devon Gilfillian isn’t just dropping another project—he’s making a statement about where he is creatively and personally.
