Made in America Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Kehlani, and More

Made in America’s 10th anniversary was celebrated with headliner Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, and more.

First, I want to commend the festival for doing an amazing job of making sure that everyone was safe. I love how CLEAR was able to verify vaccinations and negative COVID results in an effective manner. The festival was filled with various sets from this year’s hottest artists, information booths from different organizations, and attendees ready for the festivities.

Fayetteville, North Carolina’s own Morray started the festival off, performing on the Liberty Stage. Morray was followed by Latto, Griselda, and Coi Leray. Coi Leray performed her hit singles “Big Purr,” “At The Top,” and “No More Parties.” Coi Leray’s performance surprised me and was excited to see that her stage presence has grown. Coi performed alongside her dancers and included choreography in her routine. Saturday’s festival was a heavy line-up. Bouncing back and forth from the Tidal, Liberty, and Rocky stage to catch the acts as the festival winded down.

Once Baby Keem entered the stage, the energy was felt throughout the festival and was turned up afterward. Young Thug followed Baby Keem performing some of his top viral hits and old singles including “Out West,” “Ski,” and “Digits.” The crowd chanted “Jeffery” until Thugger came on stage Thug’s performance was pink, sparkly, and went up in flames. I loved his outfit, energy, and the way he gets his fans excited for him to perform.

Kehlani was one of my favorite performances. Kehlani’s vocals sounded amazing during her set and the choreography was perfect.

The dancer’s outfits went along with Kehlani’s and the set was a great aesthetic. She performed songs from her latest project, ‘It was good until it lasted,’ including “Can I,” “Water,” “Hate the Club,” and more favorite from her discography.

Lil Baby ended the show off with a bang. Performing hit songs including “On Me,” “We Paid,” bringing 42 Dugg to perform and included wardrobe changes on stage.

Lil Baby’s energy was high throughout his performance showing why he was the headliner for alongside Justin Bieber.

This was hands down my favorite Made in America. Day one was filled with amazing performances.
